Pretty sure Olly_Cromwell_69 was hacking. Can't really blame The_King. There were no moderators online either at the time

Pretty sure as well also The_King closed his account soon after.
Thankfully Olly_Cromwell_69 got banned eventually it did take awhile though

the video game industry is deeply sick. they earn $billions by poisoning impressionable minds with their disturbing output, and then say it is only harmless fun for the kiddies which helps them develop motor skills and socialise.
the same goes for video producers... watching extreme nihilistic violence in titles such as Saw and Hostel is clearly going to influence young people in a bad way.
obviously i do not expect you to agree.

Ok you do realize video game makers do have a target audience? and those that make the violent video games do not make them for children to play its illegal for children to buy them, the main problem is parents buying their children these games the video game developer has no say over this once this parent has bought the game the devs have targeted towards ADULTS the dev can't do anything.

look at the age rating 18 these movies are intended to be viewed by an adult audience.

No i can't agree with you because you are ignoring the fact these are made for adults not children.
I think we should also ban Candy Crush, it shows our children that it is perfectly fine to into a corner shop and just crush all the candy underfoot. This behaviour can NOT be accepted and things need to change soon, what a morbid world we live in. /s

Why is it that whenever someone says something that's actually logical, they have to be a troll?

No, I'm not. And it seems like people on here are too afraid to actually admit that what i'm saying is right, they're all too busy ganging up acting like stupid school children in groups. Including yourself, go else where because people like you do my head in mate.

not really relevant here since nothing you've said is logical, or right. Plenty of research has been done into the idea you're suggesting, none suggests any causative link between playing violent video games and going on to commit violent acts, if anything it suggests a preventative effect.

You are trying to say that one of the main reasons for the recent events (Paris) is that fact that violent video games exist (look at your title). These events are sourced from countries like Iraq and Syria, countries where people struggle to find a place to live and food. They don't even have electricity in 90% of the country. You have the audacity to suggest that kids in the west playing video games is part of the cause of this. What you are saying is parallel to suggesting that Eminem's music is the reason for all domestic abuse, or that Game of Thrones is a major source of why people rape and murder. It is quite infuriating that you are so closed minded, and quite frankly you should be embarrassed.

The fact that you are taking advantage of this horrible tragedy in order to promote your own agenda is quite insulting to the families of the victims and definitely in bad taste. You should be thankful for the fact that the closest you have been to been to war is hearing the sound of your brother playing Call of Duty.

I hope that as you grow you will learn that you world is not quite as simple as it seems.

All the best.

this is a joke right ? the age restrictions are scorned everywhere; the sickos who produce this ghastly stuff know full well that most of the players will be under age.
It's just so insulting in my opinion. To the people who live horrible lives lead by extremist Islam in the middle east and to the victims of terrorism. I think she has read my post and decided to stop posting.

Well if you look at Australia then you have a great case the age laws there are crazy.
However there is no law preventing an adult to purchase a 18+ product then give it to a child or if there is it'd be bloody hard to impliment in any case banning video games for something out of their control is stupid.
I personally feel the age laws are not enforced hard enough no ID no sale no matter what even if you feel the person is old enough you must always ask for ID.
I hardly think these jihads or whatever coming into Europe as 'Syrian Refugees' will have had time to boot up their PS4 and have a quick came of Call of Duty, No the reason for this attack in my opinion anyway is the intervention in Syria, By us bombing IS you can't expect them to just do nothing, I'm not by any means making excuses for the Pigs but when you think of it like that it is different, The mighty west intervened once again into a Middle eastern war and now they are coming for us. They are persecuting the Syrians and Christians if they all leave for Europe ISIS won't just let them leave!

I understand your intentions are good, but I can assure you they are wrong. Sooooo many studies have shown that by playing video games (especially EXTREMELY violent ones like Mortal Kombat) people who are prone to violence actually are a lot calmer. Games are no different to books or films, they offer a journey to take you to places that can be thrilling, magical and inspiring (in a good way obviously), but are painted evil by the media and parent myths. Take a look at Fallout 4, it is dynamic and liberating. It shows humanity's will to survive even after the worst of times.
But in my opinion there is no link, none at all. I mean it's based on an individual and their capacity to understand. If your theory is correct, then all of the Germans who listened to Hitler should've and still should be loyal to him. I despise violence in real life (except self defense) and yet I play countless of violent games.
We are, as animals of this planet, bound to violence and video games offer us a way to channel those tendencies to a harmless place. Some of us are able to not be influenced and keep our tendencies there, some aren't. It's the way of life.
Also, "recent events"...come on...how do you know the participants played video games?
Why would ISIS play Call Of Duty? AN AMERICAN GAME.

I agree with you, blaming video games for terrorism is like blaming horror movies for serial killings. At first I thought the OP was trolling to rustle jimmies, then I looked at her other posts...

So you're just ignoring all the research?

I can imagine it now, a group of nazis in a room chuckling over the plans for the death camps while playing tetris.

Preach.
No offence @elliemayxo, but this is stupid.

When I'm playing Payday, I don't think "oh boy, I really want to rob a bank".
When I'm playing CoD, I have never thought "I wish I could shoot a real person".
When I'm playing Fallout, "I really wanna nuke something" has never crossed my mind.

Throwing my own opinion out there, I think they're more likely to prevent violent attitudes than lead to them - venting yourself in a virtual world is far greater than actually going out and being violent in any way.

We're different people when we log in. And more than anything, I've always considered gamers to be the least threatening people around...

It's invisible what's happening, people done realise what these things are doing to their brains. When your mind is only concentrating on one thing for hours on end, and everything else around you is exlucded, that is dangerous for your mind

You're pretty thick so it doesn't surprise me.

You are vile, naive, and messed up as a human.

Because research and studies are always right aren't they? You and everyone else on this post are part of the problem that we are facing. Pretty much just as bad as the ones bombing the country's.

Again, sarcasm is ugly. We should ban anything that deluded children and anything that makes them forget the world around them, and everything that's important. Technology and video games are the route of all evil, in the spiritual sense.

Holy ****, now you're claiming that gamers are on par with terrorists?!?!
