Which exam board?

Just in general

Well, I've done AS religious education and we have picked the topics 'Philosopy of religion and ethics'.

That basically includes things such as the teleological argument, cosmological argument, miracles and the problem of suffering for the philosophy unit and utilitarianism, sexual ethics, war and peace and religion and morality for the ethics side.

At A2 it gets harder, but the skills learnt are generally the same. You have to learn how to write quickly but concisely. Generally you need to examine key ideas of the theories you've leant (who presented them, what kind of argument is is?) in the 20 minute essay whilst in the 10 minute essay you would concentrate on the analysis and coming up with the conclusion (your opinion!)

so would you say that its really difficult compared to gcse?
I would say so, yes. For me anyway. I don't know what RE GCSE is now like, but when I was doing it it was easy. No revision required on the day and you get an A. At AS, you're going to be working damn hard for that A.
