Choosing Subjects

Which subjects would be relevant or useful in the advertising or media field?
I would prefer to take Biology because i'm interested in it but people tell me that Economics is better if i'm planning to go into the Advertisement and Business world

You can take whatever you like to be honest, and a background of Biology, particularly if you enjoy it could be helpful if you wanted to do some kind of medic related journal or that kind of thing?
So long as you do well it should be fine, relevant subjects include

•

English

•

Sociology

•

Phycology

•

Media Studies

•

Film studies

•

Maths

•

Art and Design

but really it's up to you; like I said if you get a good grade and you have at least some relevant subjects don't worry too much :smile:

Unfortunately, our school doesn't allow us to take both Socio and Arts at the same time. From a Media/Journalism career point of view, which one would be more useful?
