PGCE Further education

Hi,

I've applied for the PGCE Further Education and Training at Portsmouh Uni. Just wondered if anyone else has done it and what it's like? Also, if you have done it, how easy did u find getting a job after doing it?

I haven't done it, so I can't really answer your question, but I just wanted to say I've also applied for the post-compulsory PGCE (English). I hardly see anyone else who's chosen to go into the lifelong learning sector so I'm glad to see someone else has :smile:

I am currently doing mine in FE!

From my experience and speaking with my friends its all down to placement, get a good mentor and nice classes, its fantastic!

Getting a job depends on lots of things, its mainly about your degree and what specialism you do if your course offers it.
