Mnemonics useful for GCSE Chem Exam?

Anyone know any useful mnemonics that would be useful for remembering stuff for GCSE Chem or for any science exam? I specially need help on remembering the test for positive ions and stuff... PLEASE. I really need help on it!

I used OIL RIG
Oxidation is loss, reduction is gain (of electrons)
I cant remember any others! Sorry! If you make up your own, make sure they're funny because then you'll remeber them. I also made loads of posters (in bright colours) and stuck them all round my room. What exam board are you doing?

The only mnemonic I used for GCSE was OIL RIG (in fact, I think I still use that today :p: ).

for some reason we use leo the lion and reg the rhino instead lol!
Leo = lose electrons oxidation
Reg = Reduction electrons gain
its more confusing than oil rig actually but its one that i always remember!
