I wasn't too happy with my results:

I was really expecting an A for Computing since I worked so damn hard for it, and got an almost perfect A last year. Also disappointed with maths, thought I could at least get a C (worked especially hard for this).

Despite not reaching your offer, will your firm/insurance choice still take you or are you going through clearing?
This was the best part. After trying to get through to Manchester Uni for ten minutes, I gave the grades to the woman, expected a "Sorry, but you haven't been accepted." But... I was!!! I was surprised, she was suprised, my mum was surprised. Well chuffed. Granted, last night UCAS had noted my course was up for clearing, but since I wanted it I'm happy! Even I admit that if I were a admissions tutor, the grades I got would be far from enough for a course there. So I'm extremely lucky!

D'oh! Should do this tight away before posting here! Your results are more important than chatting on the forum!

I don't wish to post my results here as they were just too awful, but my first choice uni have still accepted me, and I didn't even have to ring up and beg (it was posted on the UCAS site) - and I know I only was accepted cos I had such a good personal statement and a really good interview. So for all you applying next year, it pays well to have a really good personal statement (mine was commented on by several tutors at interviews) and a good interview because they do remember you, and come results day they will say oh i'm sure he/she will do better here and they will take you - I've just proved it. So well done to those who did get good results, and to those who didn't - well done as well remember its not the end of the world.
