    Direct Your Career is a series of presentations and workshop to help you develop your employability. Available at all stages of your course,you can attend as many sessions as you like, to help direct your careerplanning and navigate your way toward the right opportunities for you.

    What’s on in WEEK 10 – Semester 2 at Loughborough Campus

    Induction on:

    Loughborough Employability Award

    The induction sessions are aimed at undergraduate and postgraduate (masters) students who are interested in findingout more about the Award and how to get started.

    Workshop on:

    Global Careers

    Thinking of an international career? Looking for a graduate job with overseas opportunities? This interactive course aims to help you to develop an awareness of different cultures to support you in the recruitment process and in your future career. Participating in the course will help you develop an insight into business culture and provide you with knowledge and competencies to succeed in a culture that is different from your own.
    Includes: introduction to culture, language and body language, the culture of business; different company cultures, a brief insight into Hofstede’s principles and the skills you will need to be a global employee. We will provide tips to help you find jobs overseas.

    Aimed at Undergraduate and Postgraduate students completing summer 2016
