SOAS or Queen Mary for International Relations?
Got an offer from both. I think SOAS's course might be more interesting and "outside the box" but I heard the place is also like tumblr in real life i.e. Social Justice Warriors and student life is way too politicized. Not to keen on that. Just want a normal university experience.
From what I heard Queen Mary is more "calm" in that sense. It's in Mile End though, so not really in the centre like SOAS.
Also I heard some nasty things about SOAS student halls. How's that now? Where do students live in 2nd year, surely too expensive to stay in the centre right?
