What I'm grateful for today

Bank Holiday :nutcase:


A random act of kindness I've done

Did more washing up :yep: Also paid for slightly more than my share of lunch today (my mum and I went to Busaba Eathai :coma: )

My mum made me cheese on toast :colone:

What I'm grateful for today

Grateful for the slow day at work since I'm still kinda out of sorts atm :frown:

Did a teeny bit of washing up, and lots of computer stuff for my mum :yep:

My mum bought dine in for 2 offers from M&S and Waitrose. With awesome desserts :gah:

Got to work early today :king1:

Hitting the snooze button less :getmecoat:

Also not sending crazy emails to uni staff :erm:

Did another day of work :h:


What I've done to look after my mental health

Took today at a slow pace :redface:

What I'm grateful for today

Grateful that my boss is back, and that my boss and my boss' boss were so kind upon hearing about my godfather's death and my dad's hospitalisation :redface:


A random act of kindness I've done

Not done anything kind today :frown:


A random act of kindness someone has done for me

My mum said I can have her chocolate and salted caramel tart, so I have two rather than one :ahee:


Things I did well

Staying at work til the end of the day. It was hugely difficult doing so :frown:


Something I could improve on

Again, not sending crazy emails to uni stuff :getmecoat:

What I've achieved today

Did another day of work :yes:


What I've done to look after my mental health

Took things slow even though boss is back and my colleague (who shares the same office) must have thought I was lazy as **** :erm:


Something I have to look forward to

Seeing uni chaplain tomorrow and one of my best uni mates :colondollar:

What I'm grateful for today

My uni's chaplain was really good at listening to me today. It didn't help a huge amount talking to her but she was kind and reassuring and lovely as always :h:

My mother figure sent me a kind email :redface:


Things I did well

Getting places today. I managed Britain's busiest railway station during rush hour :headfire:

Had a rest break in my uni's computer centre between seeing two friends :yes:

What I'm grateful for today

My boss was really understanding about how ill I was on Weds, and gave me important but simple tasks to do today :colondollar:

My mum bought awesome Chinese food. And not just awesome Chinese food: M&S awesome Chinese food :sexface:

Did well at keeping calm and collected at work today, and getting there and back without any trouble :smile:

Sleeping without sleeping pills

Went to work. Am really proud of myself for not giving in to the voices :yep:

Paced things and communicated with uni mental health adviser about how things are :smile:

Quiet weekend :moon: Plus seeing my psychiatrist on Monday after 7 months :eek:

I helped my mum with school paperwork :yep:

My mum let me have more than my fair share of dinner coz I was hungry :love:

Grateful to my friend for driving all the way over to pick me up and hang out :love:

Socialising with my friend and listening/paying attention to what she was saying :yes:

What I'm grateful for today

Grateful that my psychiatrist still gave me ample time for my appointment, even though she was running half an hour behind :redface:

Trying not to show how frightened I was by some bad news my boss gave me today :ninja:

Made a meal! OK, as in put things in the oven and didn't burn them but for me, that's a massive achievement :king1:

Hibernated in pyjamas as soon as I got home due to feeling unwell :s-smilie:

My mum brought home my fave food EVER for dinner. Except the restaurant that made the takeaway for her made it too spicy, so I could barely eat it :emo: But it's the thought that counts :h:

Ignoring the voices when they tried to start up again :yep:

My boss took time to sit and chat with me at the end of the day about how my health is atm, which was really kind of her :redface:

Getting through the day and soothing Infant TLG when she flared up :yes:

What I'm grateful for today

Being able to see my mental health adviser, even though doing so made me really really sad :frown:

Took my friend out for a birthday lunch and gave her a birthday present wrapped in nice wrapping paper and in a nice gift bag :h:

My mum went out especially to buy an enchilada-making pack coz I wanted enchiladas for dinner :colondollar:

I don't think I was *too* inappropriate with mental health adviser today... :erm:

Going to Oxford and seeing friends on Sat :yes: Though it could be quite a triggering trip, so could well live to regret it... :erm:
