Thank you very much, regarding the 15 and 25 markers though, I've had numerous teachers this year and they seem to have different ideas of how to answer the question each, how would you propose to answer the question?

A 15 mark question I would make two points of analysis. Say if it was

"‘Imperfect information may lead to market failure.’
Explain how imperfect information may result in the failure of markets for merit and demerit goods."

I would do a chain of analysis about how imperfect information means that goods are under or overconsumed in the short run and the effects that it has on the long run, and how this leads to a misallocation of resources and therefore market failure.

I would then do a second chain of analysis about how there would be a market failure because the government (or really anyone for that matter) can measure the externalities, and therefore the price of a good cannot reflect its true cost to society, even if it wanted to.

Basically two chains of analysis or explanation.
