Level 9s and Oxbridge

How many level 9 grades at GCSE do you think you should have for a reasonable chance into Oxbridge?

The new grading system is 1-9. 1 is the worst as it is a U grade and 9 being *HIGH* A*.

8 is then what we usually refer to as the old A*.

Not really going to make much of a difference. 8 is still fully representative of an A*, hence why you'll be fine with 8s for english and maths, although obviously it would look a little better if you got any 9s.
it doesnt even matter that much if you can get a's and b's, do great alevels, do a bachelors in a half decent place and pass it with distinction or whatever(highest mark) then theres a good chance cambridge or oxford will let you in, no kidding my sister did it, its not as hard and just selective of the kids who get all 9s
