is the uni you go to really going to determine salary?
I thought its more about skills, relevant experience, actual attainment, the strength of your CV etc that gets you places.
Is a 3rd from oxford with 0 experience>1st from Manchester with a stacked CV?

Your earning potential is far more likely to be influenced by what your father earns than any aspect of your academic background.
It's not surprising these universities all have a very high privately educated population in their student cohorts...
