GCSE Geography

So I've bought the CGP guide for my Geography GCSE next year. Although some of the case studies are the same as I've learnt, a few are different. Should I use the CGP ones instead of the ones I've been taught? The CGP ones are set out amazingly and list everything I need to know, whereas the ones I did at school are all over the place and I can't remember much about them. Also we still haven't finished learning the spec and my teacher said we won't be finished learning it by February. Should I just use the CGP guide? Just asking for advice because I want to do well in Geography as considering it for A level.
use the ones you have learnt in school for now - just use the CPG guides to revise from if they are clearer - but in your exam, use the best ones for you - whichever you can remember. I know it's the summer holidays now but after the summer you could ask your teacher - I'm sure they would be happy to help
