After A levels you join Medical university to get your medical degree.
In some countries like india, Malasiya, Srilanka and Banagladesh you get awarded M.B.B.S ( Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery ) after 5 years of studying in medical school undergraduate program. Than after that you study for 2 years of postgraduate in order to get M.D ( Doctor of Medicine) degree.
However, when you complete 6 year undergraduate medical degree in countries like Russia, Belarus, Kirghistan and Ukraine you are awarded M.D ( Doctor of Medicine).
So in some countries undergraduate medical degree is M.D while in other countries in postgraduate medical degree is M.D.
My question for the countries who give M.D as undergraduate degree, what degree are you awarded after you study postgraduate in medicine?
