I am studying the a level ocr computer science specification. I've only got through 3 chapters out of all the 64 in the textbook and am already finding it very difficult. I havent done a gcse in any computer or ict subject. Also I am planning on sitting the exam this june (which is in less than 8 months).
Am I setting myself a crazy challenge or do you think I could succeed?
Any help would be appreciated, even if it is your personal experience of how easy/difficult this spec is.

Are you doing it by yourself?

I am doing it by myself (through LearnOnline) and also finding it difficult. I plan to just memorize it all in the last 3 months coming to the exam. The arithmetic and problem solving topics will need me to understand but the rest I can hopefully memorize and just practice questions.

Do you think that maybe my method could work for you aswell?

How far have you gotten with the coursework?

Yes I am doing it myself. I dont think I’ll be able to do it in 3 months considering that I havent even done gcse in computer science. How are you going to memorise all the exam content and exam practice/technique in 3 months? I dont think I would be able to manage that even if I had prior knowledge.
I am close to deciding that I’ll be giving the exam next year as I want to get a high grade in it.
