A-Level Retake Advice

Hi, I've come to the conclusion to retake my A levels as I didn't do too well, I'm retaking Mathematics (Edexcel), Economics (AQA) and Computer Science. However, I plan to switch exam boards for Computer Science from AQA to OCR as AQA I generally find to be a harder Computer Science course, particularly Paper 1.

How would redoing my coursework take place as I am switching exam boards from AQA to OCR and plan to do my resit as a Private Candidate?

Also does anyone have advice on weather this is a good idea or not.
