Dental hygienist, what do I need ?

Hello i am going to be starting my apprenticeship in dental nursing the beginning of next year. I have the hopes of becoming a hygienist in the long run.
I don't fully understand what the requirements are to be accepted. I would have the dental nursing qualification when the time comes and I also have a L3 BTEC in forensics which incorporates biology and chemistry in my studies And I have all my gcses which were all C and above
Would this be sufficient enough for me to get on the hygienist course?

Option 4:

BTEC (Level 3) Diploma or Extended Diploma in relevant scientific subject (MM or MMM or above) including 90 credits in scientific subjects (preferably Biology) at Merit level or above.
