Dropping 4th A-level

Hey guys,

So I currently take 4 subjects (maths, further maths, physics and chemistry) but I'm thinking of dropping chemistry. I'm applying for a maths related degree, so not taking further maths as a fourth subject wouldn't be an issue. In fact I've contacted all my unis and they've said my offers still stand even if I drop chemistry.

I'm predicted A*A*AA (with As in physics and chemistry) but I find chemistry very boring and way too time consuming. If I dropped it, I reckon I could use that time to bump my physics up to an A*. So either A*A*A* or A*A*AA (potentially could be A*A*AB with my current performance in chemistry).

So are there any benefits for taking four subjects or should I drop it? Thanks

If all your unis aren’t bothered, just drop it! You’re more likely to meet the terms of your offer for your other 3 subjects if you stop doing chem.
