Chartered engineer without engineering first degree

I will study maths at university. Can I then do an accredited master in Aerospace (or similar) engineering and after some years of work become a chartered engineer?
Or is a BEng/MEng a must to become one?
Thanks

Edit: I cannot study an engineering degree since I made the mistake of not choosing Physics A-level

It's not really going to be an issue if you study an accredited engineering MSc degree.

But, if you want to go into engineering, then it would be advisable to study an engineering degree (BEng/MEng) rather than a maths one.

University's accept students with A-level Maths and Further Maths I've got 4 offers at the moment and haven't done any physics.
Those are the Uni's that offer me a place to study EE (Manchester, Sheffield, Leeds, and Liverpool ).
