How to become a structural engineer
I am in my 3rd year of university studying civil engineering engineering BSc (accredited by IStructE and ICE) , I wish to become a chartered structural engineer but i am not sure how to go about it. I am doing my degree part time alongside a BIM technician role at a structural engineering firm. What are my next steps and is there a way to become chartered without a masters

Is progression at your current company an option?
Regarding chartership, I believe you can sit the IStructE exam with just a bachelor's now.
