Revision

What are some good ways to revise besides reading and writing?
You could try watching educational videos etc, there will be plenty of YouTube channels out there to help!

There’s loads of ways. If you do history make a timeline. Sticky notes on your wall or around the house. Quizlet/flashcards. Get tests from online and do the papers with of without notes and timed/untimed. Annotation of books and poems if you do english lit. Watch videos and play educational games, make up songs to help you remember things. Talk your notes out and listen to them on the way to school.
Past papers.

I find a few things useful:

- youtube videos. These are especially good in some subjects. I like Freesciencelessons and primrosekitten for science and mr bruff for english literature

- online sites. Think that https://senecalearning.com/ is great for learning of everything (it tells you content and then tests on it, and is super engaging) and https://quizlet.com/en-gb for just finding some quick quizzes to test yourself on a specific topic

- Testing. Reading and writing, making notes etc are so much less efficient than testing. your brain just doesn't remember it. Whenever I am reading, I try to write myself a test at the same time and then return to that in a week or so and see what I remember . then target the bits i don't remember..
