Sprained Wrist day before my first exam

So for the past week and a half, I had a dull ache in my wrist and found it hard to write for long periods of time. I went to the walk-in centre and the doctor diagnosed my right wrist (my writing hand) with Wrist Sprain NOS (Non-specific wrist sprain), he has advised me to regularly take ibuprofen and paracetamol.
Do you think I would be able to get extra time in my exams if I went to the exam office with the medical report he printed out about my injury as it could hinder my chances within the exam?
The only problem is on the report it also says that I still have a full range of motion, good hand grip and there's is no weakness bruise or obvious injury. I'm not trying to lie about this as I'm a 'good student' complete 100% attendance and predicted A*AA and got ABBC in my AS's last year, i just don't want this to affect my chances of getting into uni. Could anybody help?
Just ask them. Wouldn't hurt to ask them and let them know your situation. I'm sure they will be considerate.
