I used many examples of rhetorical questions, statistics, direct address and triples. I also gave counter arguments and proved why they are don't work in terms of my argument

Block, thats really good!

How many pages you all wrote for Q5? I wrote 3 really secure pages and looked at the girl across me and she finished the entire booklet!!

I wrote around 4 pages, but I only had 2 detailed arguments and 1 counter argument! Remember tho, its about quality not quantity! Our school had an example essay, which got full marks from 3 pages!!

**** AQA, that exam was a mess. Why ask about sports when that is going to give a clear advantage to those who like sports over those who don't. Many people at my school who don't give a flying **** about sports couldn't include any specific information. That is really unfair as specific info is a technique. I think AQA have a lot of explaining to do. First Chadwick then this!

IKR! Aqa are trying to make their papers "harder" by asking weird questions to throw students off. And its really not fair! There have been soo many changes happening now, I was hoping that they would be more lenient but nm!

yeah true, but the grade boundaries for nov paper last year vamped up by 11 marks each grade or something like that since the july 2017 paper.

Wouldnt stress about it at all: if you take a look at the difference in difficulty between the two papers you'd be suprised it was only 11 marks more

You can get 40/40 with 3 paragraphs over 1 page. AQA only mark down on two paragraphs or less.

  Really?
I want to know whether for q5 I would get marks for starting like

FOUL PLAY

Children that go to private schools and are good at a sport their talent is seen by teachers and teachers push the child to do well and many succeed. However many children do not go to private schools and their talent goes unseen and are not pushed is this fair?

You as a parent have probably signed your child up to a sport club of some sort whether it be football, basketball, hockey or rugby and you pay to get them into the club and play in order to have fun and socialise. More I cant remember

However these clubs are overcrowded and your child doesn’t even get to play a match, managers of the team are corrupt they pay to be entered into cup finals and pay for rewards the clubs just want to make money, it was believed that Bhakar F.C. had earned up to 10,000 a month by signing up children to play for the club and it was said that this money was going to be Re invested into the villiage but this had never been seen. To you as a parent of a child this may come as a worry, To see whether this is your local team a petition has been made to check whether you local team is on there check www.localteamscandal.co.uk and join the petition for a refund.....more I can’t remember

A parent of a child who plays for a local team who has been unnamed for personal reasons said “my child told me that the manager often shouts at his team for not winning as the manager wants to show to the other managers that his team is the best” another parent said “my child often gets bullied for not being good at the sport”....... more I can’t remember

Moving on to sporting in major leagues that is also known to be corrupt and money driven many of you children have idols such as ronaldo and messi, players such as Ronaldo messi and Suarez have all been parry of a scandal involving tax evasion (£12million) and paying of referees to be biased. How would you tell your children.
......more I can’t remember

I wish that we could go back to the time where going out to play sport going to
A sport centre that was free and it was all about enjoying your self and socialising having fun.

I missed a bit but this is a brief this is all I remember writing would this get a decent mark there were more rhetorical questions and more on my opinion I cant remember the exact words so I left it out... there was a bit I did on emotive language and other things is this ok how many marks would it get.

Of course, in my opinion writing over two pages is a waste of time, i've never written over two pages and i've never gotten under 35

Haha
I can relate! But this time I made my handwriting smaller so I wrote faster but my hand was aching sooo bad at the end!! 2 pages for Q2, 2 pages for Q3, 4 pages for Q4 and 4 pages for Q5 = 12 PAGES NON STOP WRITING!! Even the invigilator felt sorry for me at the end of the exam!
for q5 I supported the idea that sports is fun. I firstly mention how we instinctively enjoy sports since we were a young age as a primary school kid.

I then counter argued the idea that it's corrupted by stating how many footballers and clubs donate to charities and there are charity games. I used sarcasm there for effect.

I talked about how footballers get paid a lot becuase we are willing to do so. As millions of us watch sports many companies would want to sponser and many ppl pay money for tickets etc. Leading to a lot of money invested in sports. So I'm theory they earn all that money becuase that's what society chooses and is willing to give.

I mentioned how sports is constantly being created with new sports such as surfing and we now have many others involving snow and water unlike before.

I finally mentioned how it involved everyone by talking about the Paralympics being introduced which is a step closer to sports being more fair and fun.

I made a few more paragraphs which I don't remember at this moment.

Do U reckon that’s around the 20 marks and does it matter if you don’t use much punctuation just comma full stop inverted commas and question marks.

Yep, you could get 15-24 marks + 13-16 for spag! But I only had a snippet, use the online mark scheme on the AQA website, it appiles to all papers and see which band you are in! Anyways the paper is done so don't worry too much!
CAN YOU READ THIS PLEASE HOW IS IT COMMENT BELOW could you leave a mark there is more please take it into consideration it is at the same standard

Hi for my paper 1 description I did a description of a woman as it said old person but related it to the picture eg the grey hairs and eyes etc and the lighting.

I hadn’t seen her in a while it came as a shock to me. She lived next door she had lived In the village of parmbroom for her whole life she hadn’t stepped one foot out of the village. Maggie was her name 96 years old she is she was famous within the town knew streets like the back of her hand and knew all the villagers phone numbers, she was even In with the children. A loveable character. .... not word for word a bit missing about the village

I hadn’t seen Maggie for a while it came as a shock to me she had changed her hair grey a polished aluminium colour glistened when the sun shined on it and her once hazel brown eyes now black onyx with cement bags under each her hair had patches in it as if a mole had come and made holes in it her skin no longer smooth as a baby’s bottom it now sagged like a basset hound dog each wrinkle showing golden wisdom........some more description about her. Skin being pale

She no longer walked she hobbled then stopped leaning against the church wall like a wishbone gasping for dry breath her legs once used for doing 100m sprints could no longer bend as if they had been glued to stay in that position She had worn a bright red dress no longer fitting her fragile body the red lit up her pale face giving some her some light may be the only light she had showing or within her.

I go to help her hold her whilst she is gasping for breath I hold her touching her silk hair so fragile and wrinkles skin...... I can’t remember the rest
