How much money should i take to uni
I was wondering how much money I should take to uni... I am starting uni in September and I have my student loan sorted, but I wanted to know how much of my own money I should have to bring as like spending money?

Have some cash but you need a debit card as its safer than carrying lots of money.
But roughly how much money? Between £300-£500?

well only a couple of weeks untill i get a job but it wont be money for food because i already have that sorted money for that.
I usually try and save around £500 for September! This is for freshers (including any daytime events, last year we went to Thorpe park for example) food, socialising, and school supplies up until I get the loan in around late September/early October. Its always more than enough for me! You could proabably get away with less if you're careful with your money

You have a bank account and card right? Keep your money in the bank not lying around in halls.
