And as already stated, Ryan Blog here is also very useful.

It's very helpful cheers Ryan, I was going to do the same thing however I'm on the Jan intake so I'll probably spend all my time in the medical room having frostbitten limbs hacked off.

It's worth doing if you have the time. It's actually helped me in the service as it's given me something to add to my annual reports and things like that.

I sympathise with training in January! I started my basic in November. Had some time off for Christmas and as soon as we came back, I think we went straight off to CPT. It was honestly the coldest, most uncomfortable few days of my life. On the upside, I don't really complain about being cold any more!

Hi Ryan, roughly how long did you get off at Christmas? I'm probably gonna start BRTC in December so was wondering how long I'd get off as I've been invited to go on holiday for Xmas. Thanks

2 weeks is pretty standard. I don't know for sure and this is definitely worth checking but I'd hazard a guess at it being something like 21st December - 7th January.
