AQA A Level geography 6 markers

Hello, im currently in year 13 and doing aqa geography. Im really lost when having to answer 6 mark questions that say "analyse the data" as im no sure if i have to suggest reasons for the patterns i see. While the assessment objective say that you shouldn't explain my teachers say that you should always give reasons why patterns may be occuring. Does anyone have any structure they would suggest?
