"log(X)" means log base 10 of x

"ln(x)" means log base e of x
•
log(A^b) = b * log(A)
•
log(A * b) = log(A) + log(b)
•
log(A / b) = log(A) - log(b)
•
log_b(A) = log_x(b) / log_x(A)
•
if log(A + x) = log(B), then A + x = B
