GCSE maths and A-LEVELS computer science

are you able to still do a level computer science if you get a grade 5 in maths but you meet all the other entry requirements

I think that varies by the school, but you could talk to the computer science teachers to see. Computing A level requires semi-decent maths skills in the form of mental addition (because calculators are still banned in a computer science exam) and understanding of exponents of 2, negative exponents, and logarithms which are the reverse of exponents (like how addition is the opposite of subtraction). All of that is easily achievable with a grade 5 in maths, as long as you don't struggle too much with binary at the moment, although realistically binary arithmetic makes up about 10 marks of the exam so even if you can't do those questions it's not the end of the world.
