i would recommend you to solve may june 2018 its a bit tricky, and also if u havent solved the new specimen at least look at it. both papers papers have nice ideas , its going to benefit you, atleast look at them. good luck!

number of moles is 1 mol , and 1 mol= 6.0x10^-23 molecules (not atoms) so carbondioxide has 3 atoms per molecule, which are C and 2 O. you multiply 3 by avogadro constant to get the total number of atoms.
we did that because they asked us about the total number of *atoms* not molecules , of they asked about number of molecules then its only the avogadro constant number .

Solve the specimen its really important more than what you imagine since its the first year with this new syllabus. biology exam had few question similar to that specimen question which we werent able to answer, i regret for not solving bio specimen.
