How would you describe in detail how each spirit/ ghost is significant to change that Scrooge endures?

I'd spend a paragraph on each ghost and question why Dickens has included them. It would make sense to start in chronological order with their appearances in the novel but Jacob Marley is possibly a hard one to start on so the choice is yours.

Though I guess the shock of seeing someone who you believe to be dead may have the startling effect that Dickens intends to make upon his title character, allowing him to believe the other spirits without being cruel and wicked towards them, since without Marley being recognisable to Scrooge, each of the other spirits could simply be disbelieved by Scrooge, or the sudden turning of Scrooge from being a wicked cynical man to being afraid of ghosts may be too unbelievable a transformation of the character for readers to invest in.
