With one week which 19th cent english lit text is easiest?

I never learnt A Christmas Carol as I had a difficult time when my year was learning it and now I know barely anything about it, should I still try to write an answer for it or a different text I could find easier or more interesting?

Which exam board are you with? A Christmas Carol is likely one of the shorter texts in the syllabus and so it might be a bit easier for you to catch up with your classmates rather than starting over again. Have you spoken to your teacher about your situation?
