Something that's worth pointing out is that many of the TSR people who have dropped out of uni in the past have gone back.
I'm one of them! I thought it was all too expensive and not worth it; I was doing the wrong course for me. So it was expensive to be spending time on doing something I didn't want to be doing.
My advice for you is to take some time out, a gap year or two, and try and find a career that you are passionate about, something that you really want to do for the rest of your life. If that means you need to go to uni, do it; you'll have a drive for it that quite a few people do not.
