im starting to contemplate medicine/dentistry possibly.. is it work using all these contacts for work experience or not? scared i might get lured into something im actually going to hate and end up dropping out after my second year

Trance, definitely use your contacts for work experience. Trust me, you are somewhat blessed to have such contacts. I'm having a hell of time attempting to find work experience and I actually do want to read Medicine/Dentistry. However, ensure that it is the right thing for you, so that you don't end up dropping out after the first or second year. I think you'll be able to tell if it's the right thing for you or not after you've had work experience.

for dentistry(medicine/optics too) i have - uncles mate, + someone i know whos a BDA consultant dentist
pharmacist - have way too many of these in the family .. job doesn't appeal to me
yet no one in my family works for an IB grr... again ive only been offered it after i complete my AS levels too, otherwise my contacts wont even touch me with a long stick
