So I've been lurking on here a while trying to find the oldest thread ever posted (because I have no life...) and I keep seeing a particular name come up. D. Whoever is "D"?
From my top-level detective skills I deduce he was an um mod (?) since he disabled the ability for non-registered users to reply. Normal mods can't do that so there must be something more to him...?
So whoever's the plug around here please do tell.... ( why am I so interested? Like I said. I have no life).
P.S. also who is this imsoacademic person who keeps getting referenced?

I don't think he is anymore. His Linkedin says he was only founder and CEO of TSR up until 2006, and I believe there's a guy on here called Chris Newson (@ChrisN) who's now the owner (majority stakeholder) of this site.

Oh yeah @d isn't involved any more, TSR Group has a lot of people working in the office in Brighton (see links in the footer of this page for more deets).

Ah good old imso! They were a user who insisted that every non-Oxbridge uni was inferior. They said this as they felt sure they'd get into Oxbridge. Except they didn't
