spaced revision?

I was planning on doing 40 minutes each on the same four subjects after school but i read that revision that sticks with you should be 'spaced'?

i am planning on tackling essay subjects on the weekend apart from these, so i can focus as i find it one where i have to really concentrate.

So would this not work? doing the same subjects four days in a row?

any advice on 'spacing' if not?

Personally, I’d say that spaces repetition works better when there is an increasing interval between study days for a subject/topic.

For example if you study say Germany in History, then you would maybe make notes on Monday, make a mind map on Tuesday/Wednesday then do a practise essay on Saturday... that is how I see it.

I think there are some videos on YouTube that advice you on how to use spaced repetition for studying.
