Civil engineering uni requirements

Hi,
Currently I am studying geography, art textiles and drama at A-level. Is there any chance of me getting into civil engineering or the foundation degree for it?

Hey! Probably not the civil engineering due to not having maths and most courses ask for maths as a minimum. But you should be eligible for a foundation year if you get the grades. I know at Sheffield University they ask for ABB-BBC (depending on if you take maths or a science) for their science and engineering foundation year which then leads onto the various engineering degrees they offer, civil being one of them. Sheffield is also a very good university foe engineering, would recommend you give them a look :smile:

Someone i know wants to do it next year but they need some sort of further maths unless they do a foundation year, this is for Birmingham City
