Degradation for Materials

Polymers are widely used for a wide variety of applications. Describe the problems with degradation that can occur for objects that are used and kept outdoors. You must make sure you comment with respect to the molecular structure and how the polymer changes its properties.please help

Not all polymers can stand the outdoor temperature like epoxies and chains containing aromatic funtionality are especially susceptible to ultraviolet degradation.Thus if object is left outside the object will change either chemical structure cause the outdoor temperature could alter it's chemical properties like losing tensile strength,shape,color,etc.Also some molecules could be lost these are the ones most vulnerable to the outside temperature
