Dell Inspiron 1720
This laptop does not seem to be available now in any shops, so I am going to go down to London to buy it from PC World somewhere there. However there is always the fear that someone is going to mug it from me.

well you could get it deliver dot you, or you can take a taxi, or just try to put the laptop into a rucksack.
I cant get it delivered, you can only collect it from store.

oh sorry, well maybe you could wrap the box up in cheap gift paper, it would make it look less like a laptop box, then put the box in an primark bag.

Not too happy with Dell. Now their entry level 17" notebook is the Studio 17, a 1920x1200 setup is 600+.
