Is this laptop worth the price?

I'd say not worth it; £180 for a used 8th gen i5... Not the worst deal for sure but I've seen better (eg this one has almost identical specs but is £50 cheaper)

Offer £150 for that laptop you've linked to. If they accept your offer it will be a good deal.

There are a few 8th gen CPU Dell 7490's on ebay for £145 to £150 at the moment. Eg this looks like a good deal:

I wouldn't touch that Lenovo T490 with a bargepole. Mainly due to the unknown BIOS password that has been set on it. Why buy a laptop where you're locked out of the BIOS when you can buy one for a similar price where you have full access?
Lenovo T490's have slightly better keyboards than the Dell 7490's, but I personally find the chassis and lids too plasticky on those Lenovos. As evidenced by the ugly broken corner of that particular ebayed laptop. The Dell 7490's have coated magnesium alloy lids and chassis, making them feel like true premium business laptops, as well as making them more robust to knocks and drops.
