Gap year between Biomedicine and medical degree?
I am finishing my Biomedical Science degree this year and am looking to take a gap year before starting my medical degree in September 2021. I am planning to continue living in London, where I studied, and work to earn some money. I am also going to be volunteering/shadowing as much as I can. However, I've been wondering if there is anything else anyone would recommend doing i.e. are there such things as year long internships/shadowing placements in the UK?
