PGDE in Scotland
Hi everyone, I’m looking to apply for a PGDE and I will send applications to Edinburgh Napier, Edinburgh, Dundee and as a back up somewhere in Glasgow
My first choice is Napier since it’s closest to my home address - I didn’t move for undergrad and won’t be moving for this. I have been reading about placement allocation so just wondering what experiences have been? I live in fife and was really hoping for a placement in fife if I get into the course but I understand it can be 90 minutes away. It seems that 3 hours of travelling everyday will seriously eat into study and free time and it’s putting me off a bit. What’s everyone’s experiences with the unis I mentioned and likeliness of being placed close to home address?
