AS biology ~ how can i revise content without spending too much time on memorisation?

how do y’all revise for AS level biology without spending too much time on memorisation/theory? there’s a ton of content and i can’t simply memorise my notes the way i did at GCSE, mainly because of the amount of time i have to study for exams i can’t spend two weeks memorising notes, because past papers are even more important. i’m stuck for ways to revise biology, so any advice would be appreciated.
I found Seneca learning really good for remembering the basics, it enabled me to memorise enough to move onto past papers. Always make notes on the mark schemes so you remember things you commonly make mistakes on and how fussy the wording can be for some exam boards
