How are you preparing I literally don’t even know what to expect??!
Is it an assessment centre or an interview??

tbf I have no idea what to prepare for it. I'm just thinking to make sure that I know the key parts of the current monetary policy in place (inflation rate, QE and the outlook) and then just as much about the bank as I can remember! I'm guessing the interview part will include some technical q's like for uni so am swotting up on eco in general too...

Yeh I spoke to someone who has actually done an Assessment Centre for BoE and they said that the interview was more technical based so like opinions on economic theories and the current state of the economy.
But with ours being for an apprenticeship rather than a graduate programme, I don’t think they will be as technical since you don’t even need to be studying economics to apply.
im still waiting to hear whether I passed the video interview yet or not - hopefully they get back to me asap (I applied for economics)

I had work and so wasn’t able to attend. Did you go and if so how was it?
