What ages to teach? Early years teacher training

I’m starting my Early Years teacher training in september and have been asked what years i want to teach, but i’m honestly struggling to decide. I’m thinking 12-36months but i feel like it’s still such a broad age range

I completed a PGCE (3-7 years), I first trained in reception and then in Nursery. I would recommend you to work across different age groups if possible

I’m starting with early years as that’s what i want to specialise in, and will be doing a primary course next year to be able to teach in schools. So i will get to work with all the stages (: but want to start with early years.
