How difficult is a primary PGCE?
I think it depends what you mean by "difficult". Academically, some of the work is at masters level, but honestly if you have got through your undergrad ok, you will be fine with this.
The main challenge for most people is the workload, which can be very intense.
Some people do find teaching (or the PGCE process) is not for them, so it can be very difficult in that sense.

It can get a little intense with the workload but it is definitely doable. Create yourself a timetable, know what you will be doing throughout each day and keep on top of your work.
