Book recommendations

Does anyone have any interesting book recommendations, I haven't found any good book in like 3yrs and I've been told many times to start reading, especially now that I'm going into a levels.

Maybe like fantasy and romance
I would advise you to read the classics of this genre.
1. Jules Verne "Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea"
2. HG Wells "The War of the Worlds"
3. Isaac Asimov, "History of the Future" cycle
(edited 2 years ago)
Divergent by "Veronica Roth"
Dune by "Frank Herbert"

Good YA thrillers - The Good Girl's Guide to Murder (Trilogy)All books by Karen M McManus (One of Us is Lying is so good)
Yes I’ve just rediscovered the absolute joy of reading. Problem is if I don’t discipline myself, I end up reading something stupid like three books at once.
At the moment I am reading ‘The gene -an intimate history’ by Siddhartha Mukherjee and ‘Despised’ by Paul Embry

‘The gene an intimate history’ is probably the better of the two although it is a good 500 pages long. It’s written so that a layman can easily understand the concepts that it discusses.
I like some of the conclusion that the book Despised comes to. However, many of the points are poorly argued and Embry doesn’t clearly define many of the concept he discusses.
Fantasy:
Raybearer - Jordan Ifueko
Legendborn - Tracy Deonn
The Gilded Ones - Namina Forna
We Hunt The Flame - Hafsah Faizal
The Iron King - Julie Kagawa
These Violent Delights - Chloe Gong

Romance:
Melt My Heart - Bethany Rutter
The Falling In Love Montage - Ciara Smyth
Full Disclosure - Camryn Garrett
Date Me, Bryson Keller - Kevin van Whye
Opposite of Always - Justin A. Reynolds
