How to write a politics personal statement

Im applying to LSE, Warwick, Durham, UCL (my fifth choice is undecided) and I am wondering if anyone has any tips on how to write a really good personal statement for politics and international relations.
i’m also looking for advice here!! (and op are you applying for early apps?)

Hi.

I would recommend reading the course summary, which will help you figure out what students these universities are looking for. If you have any experience in politics or IR, make sure to write this in your personal statement and explain why this experience is relevant. Do not write information, which will be accessible to universities through your application in your personal statement as well. You only have a limited amount of characters, and you will find out it is actually very hard to get only that little amount. Make sure to highlight your strengths and you should be fine!
