 That ain't Windows Media Player. It's Winamp with the Nullsoft Media Player 10 skin with the opacity set to 70-ish%

Yea, winamp is very good. Theres so many skins available you can find one that completely matches your background/skin. I use iTunes, though. Just makes the whole thing easier when transferring files to my iPod and etc.

The best skin is definately the Stargate Winamp - SG1 skin. Have you never used ml_ipod then? Or tried v. 5.2 with the portable media player plugins?

No, not yet. My friend used ml_ipod but said he didn't like it much. I haven't had much time to try it out with exams in late January and coursework deadlines and isht so far this month. Haven't used Winamp in about a year or so, so I'm kinda used to iTunes now, but I'll give the 5.2 a check.

Heres mine. I hate desktop icons. Just have the essential ones.

Still too many... how can you live with that theme though!

:dito: That looks terrible - why do you have desktop icons for everything such as 'logoff', etc - that seems a little pointless to me. Also, why the double width taskbar? It looks horrible!

winamp is really just a shadow of the program it once was though, I don't think any of the people who programed 2.x are still on it and it's all aol this aol that now.

Nice taskbar - simple and attractive. What theme/skin are you using, and where id it from? Can you give us a link?

Very minamilst background.

I'm using Windowblinds. The theme is called DogmaX.

It's a BricoPack I got several months back from a site called www.crystalxp.net
Click on the BricoPack sections and download the 'Vista Inspirat' BricoPack - install it and reboot your computer and then you'll have your own dock and your computer will be sqitched over to the same black Vista-esque colour scheme as mine - i't a nice looking package. Anyhows, once you've installed it, you can fiddle about with the dock settings to make it bigger or smaller to your taste. Hope that this helps.

Does it use alot of system resources?
