IGCSE english grade for LSE

Hello guys, I am an international student applying to LSE BSc Sociology. I am not worried about my predicted IB grades; however, I performed horribly during the pandemic and achieved both 5s in IGCSE English language and literature as a non-native English speaker, and the LSE mentioned: "A minimum of grade B (or 6) in GCSE English and Mathematics" (I achieved A* in CIE advanced math). Therefore, I am afraid that they will decline my offer solely from this English grade because clearly, they don't want anything below a 6.

Is there any chance to negotiate with them? I don't want to lose my place at LSE due to my IGCSE English grades.
