A-Level self study

I was wondering if you could help me ?
I need 3 A-levels for university.
I am in my third year doing Wjec psychology at college and 2 AS levels.
This is because it is compulsory to take a minimum of three subjects at the college to be a full time student.
Basically,i feel like im wasting my time with subjects i don't even need when i could be working as well as studying for this one A-level.
I have looked into doing a distance learning course, but nowhere seems to do Wjec psychology.
However, there are private tutors that teach psychology in this area.
Do you think it would be possible/advisable to quit college, self study this A-level and enter as a private candidate for the exam in the summer?
Thanks

Getting an education and getting A Levels will be better for you now, and will set you up in the future better than a part time job.

Current economic climate = bad, not a lot of jobs available.
Ride out the storm, and wait until employers demand you, then you're sorted.
